As I’ve been sitting here stuck on this blog-not knowing what to write-reminded me to just start praying and asking God to help me. Maybe you’re stuck in life and don’t know where to turn or who to go to for help. Maybe you need answers to questions. Maybe you don’t know Jesus and you’re searching to see if He’s even real. Matthew 7:7 -8 says, Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Don’t give up. He’s ready and waiting for you to come to Him.
Ask, Seek, Knock
September 4th, 2010Praising the Lord
August 25th, 2010I just want to praise God for answered prayers. I am so blessed. Life isn’t easy but it’s a whole lot harder without God in your life. I can’t thank God enough for all He does. You don’t know what you are missing if you are living your life without Jesus Christ. Praise you Jesus!!!
WEEKEND WITH GOD
August 20th, 2010Today is Friday. I pray everyone has a wonderful weekend. If you don’t have a church home, I encourage you to start this weekend. I always look forward to worshipping, fellowshipping and learning more about our awesome God. If you do that this weekend, let us know. If you already have a church home, we want to hear from you too.
A BAD DAY
August 16th, 2010What a day! I’ve had bad news all day. But that’s OK. God is in control and I know I can’t sit and worry. I’ve just got to have faith and trust Him with everything. It will all work out. I have to keep praying and let God take care of it. If I didn’t have Jesus in my life I don’t know what I would do.
KLOVE RADIO
August 13th, 2010I got in the car this morning and my favorite station, Klove, which is the only station I listen to, was replaced by some other music. I was so mad. I thought they were off the air forever. I even hit the steering wheel. But when I got back in a few hours later, they were back on the air. I don’t know what happened. I am so thankful for a station that’s all about God. Like they say, it’s positive and encouraging. Thank you Jesus for putting it back on the air.
TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME
August 11th, 2010There are two days in every week about which we should not worry- two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.
One of those days is yesterday, with it’s mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, and its aches and pains.
Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed. We cannot erase a single word we said. Yesterday is gone.
The other day we should not worry about is tomorrow. Tomorrow is beyond our immediate control. Tomorrow’s sun will rise, whether in splendor or behind a mask of clouds. But it will rise. Until is does, we have no stake in tomorrow.
This leaves only one day–today.
Anyone can fight the battles of just one day.
It is when you and I add the burdens of those
Two awful eternities–yesterday and
Tomorrow– that we break down.
Let us therefore live one day at a time.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST?
August 8th, 2010Do you have a special day you are looking forward to? Like a wedding or birth of a baby, a graduation. Those and others are days you get excited about and can’t wait to happen. Well, what about the return of Jesus Christ? Are you ready for that? Are you excited? We don’t know the day or hour of His return but we should be ready and excited about that day. If you’re not ready, it’s something worth getting ready for. Your life depends on it. If you don’t know Jesus, now is a good time. ChristDepot can help you. If you do know Jesus, stay focused on Him and keep that excitement alive each and every day as you look forward to His return.
GODS LOVE IS SO GREAT
August 5th, 2010The promises of God’s love and forgiveness are as real, as sure, as positive as human words can make them. But like describing the ocean, its total beauty cannot be understood until it is actually seen. It is the same with God’s love. Until you actually accept it, until you actually experience it, until you actually possess true peace with God, no one can describe its wonders to you.
It is not something that you can do with your mind. Your finite mind is not capable of dealing with anything as great as the love of God. Your mind might have difficulty explaining how a black cow can eat green grass and give white milk- but you drink the milk and are nourished by it. Your mind can’t reason through all the intricate processes that take place when you plant a small flat seed that produces a huge vine bearing luscious red and green watermelons- but you eat them and enjoy them! You can’t understand radio, but you listen. Your mind can’t explain the electricity that may be creating the light by which you are reading at this very moment- but you know that it’s there and that it is making it possible for you to read!

JESUS EVERYDAY
August 3rd, 2010Today has been a very busy, stressful day. But had bible study and prayer tonight. Taking time out for what’s most important makes all the difference. No matter how busy or how stressful life gets, taking time out to spend with Jesus should be part of your day. Make time for Him everyday!
COMPLAINING CHALLENGE UPDATE
August 1st, 2010I had a challenge in an earlier blog about complaining. I have to admit I’ve done some complaining but God has been speaking to me about that and I’m working on it. I’m even working on another story about some things God is dealing with me about. So keep checking us out and hopefully my stories will be on soon.
